Fun Fact of the Day- Wednesday Feb. 18th

February 18, 1930 is the birthday for the planet Pluto! Pluto was discovered by astronomer Clyde Tombaugh at the Lowell Observatory in Arizona. It was given the name of the Roman God of the underworld. Pluto was considered the ninth planet of the solar system until 2006 when many astronomers reclassified it as a dwarf planet.
