"Twilight Midnight Movie" : Friday, March 20th


Join us for this midnight showing of “Twilight”, which is based on the world famous book by Stephenie Meyer. Rated PG-13 for some violence and a scene of sensuality. Registration is required so call the Reference Desk to register.

On Friday, March 20th, all students must be at the library at 11:30pm and enter the Broadway(front circle) entrance. All students must be picked up by a parent at the library Broadway door entrance at 2am sharp. A parent must also sign a permission slip sometime before the program and return it to the Reference Desk.

Teen Bake Off- Monday, March 23rd from 7:00-8:30pm


Join Mr. Cooper for a night of baked goodness. Please bring with you three dozen baked goods such as homemade cookies, cupcakes, OR brownies to be judged in our third annual Teen Bake Off. While our judges sample your treats and choose winners based on taste and creativity, you will play games of “Bakery Bingo”. Everyone will leave with a plate full of various tasty treats. NO NUTS OR PEANUT BUTTER IN FOOD PLEASE.

Fun Fact of the Day- Wednesday Feb. 18th


February 18, 1930 is the birthday for the planet Pluto! Pluto was discovered by astronomer Clyde Tombaugh at the Lowell Observatory in Arizona. It was given the name of the Roman God of the underworld. Pluto was considered the ninth planet of the solar system until 2006 when many astronomers reclassified it as a dwarf planet.
