It is "Teen Read Week" from October 12th-18th. Teen Read Week is a national program aimed at teens annually. This year’s sub-theme is "Books With Bite@Your Library" promoting a variety of books—from vampire stories to cooking to technology (byte)—as a tool for getting teens to read. During this week stop by YA Central any time and fill out a brief book review and you will be rewarded with a bag of treats! I hope to see you all soon this week (starting Sunday the 12th) and I have plenty of treats to hand out, so fill out those reviews on books you have been reading! (one per day please)

ya i have to agree with britt so what do we report on a book and then we get candy
All you have to do is stop in the teen area anytime this week, go to my desk and you will see an orange pumpkin(fake) with the book reviews right next to it. Fill one out and you will be rewarded with a bag of candy and treats. If I am not there, go to Reference Desk for your candy/treats AFTER you fill out the book review. please do so, time is running out....
i already did at the painting of the pumpkins that was fun can we have a dance teacher come in and teach us dancing plase they do it for the older adults so ya and can we at least have more painting activity since i like them but not on paper i like things that yuo can put in your house and hang it up and be like wow i did a good job on that painting ok ya sorry for the long message just had alot to say

Tonight's pumpkin painting program was fun with all of you. All of the energy was incredible and awesome! We will do more down the road.
And dancing? Cool, I'll look into it as soon as possible....thanks

hi this passed but im still commenting because i am going to beat alyssa and when i win i want a gift card to someplace better then subway ..we need to take a field trip!

no food programs are fun if its like your second time doing it but after a while it gets to be too much we got to change it up alittle oh ya i have to agree with alexis need better gife cards other then subways and we need a field trip
