Mark your calendars, April 27, 2013  Authors Unlimited !

This event celebrates reading by connecting teens and authors. Meet authors such as Patricia McCormick, George O’Connor, Tonya Hurley, Adam Gidwitz and many more. This all-day event will be held at St. Joseph’s College on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Please call the Young Adult desk and speak to Mrs.Meglio for more information about how you can get your Fast Pass and apply to be a volunteer.  Community service hours will not be given for attending this event.
New this year, Author Trading Cards!  Pick up the author of the week's trading card at the Young Adult Desk.  Collect all 12 and win a prize!

Teens Do Yoga!

Learn the benefits of stretch and breath work.  Discover basic yoga positions that will enhance your well being.  This four week program begins this Saturday, January 19th from 11:00 to 11:45 AM and again on January 12th, February 2nd and 9th.  Join up with your friends and take part in this fabulous program.  Please call the Young Adult Desk to register or register online

$mart Dollars Sense for Teens

Thursday, January 17^th from 7:00 – 8:00 PM

Are you saving for something big? New tech gadgets and toys can cost some big bucks. A representative from the Right Start Foundation will be on hand to discuss how to save and budget your money. Topics to be discussed include credit cards and how they work. Balancing a checkbook/e-banking will also be discussed. Students in grades 9 through 12 may call the Young Adult Desk to register or register online.
