YA Book Review: The Hunger Games

Title: The Hunger Games
Author: Suzanne Collins
Review: This book is about a 16-year-old girl named Katniss Everdeen and her crazy adventure. She has a 12-year-old sister Prim and a mom. They all live together in District 12. Her dad worked in the mines until one of the mines exploded and he unfortunately died. Katniss also has a best friend named Gale who goes hunting with Katniss illegally. Each year 2 kids a (boy and a girl) from each district are picked randomly at the reaping to perform in the Hunger Games. When Katniss' little sister Prim was chosen, Katniss knew she had to do something. So she volunteered to take the place of Prim in the Hunger Games. Now, the district 12 tributes are Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the baker's son. Will Katniss survive the Hunger Games?

YA Book Reivew: Twisted

Title: Twisted
Author: Sara Shepard
Review: The Pretty Little Liars are back for the series ninth novel. It's been over a year since their killer ex-best friend Alison DiLaurentis died from a fire and last Spring break, Spencer, Hannah, Emily and Aria did something unforgivable on their vacation to Jamaica. And if that's not enough, their stalker "A" is back to haunt them. Sara Shepard keeps up with her suspenseful series greatly and flawlessly, I highly recommend this book!
