YA Summer Reading Club Review: Beastly
Title: Beastly
Author: Alex Finn
Review: When Kyle, the rich, hot, popular guy at school pulls a prank on the new girl, things go out of whack. Kyle finds out she is a witch and she turns him into a beast. To turn back into himself, he must find someone to love him as he truly is. Will Kyle ever find someone to fit those requirements? Well in fact, he only has 2 years until he is kept as a beast forever. No plastic surgery he could ever afford would ever fix that. I recommend this to anyone who has grown up with the Beauty and the Beast fairy tales and wants a modern more mature version of it.
