Claire is moving to Florida, away from her best friend Hailey. There is only 1 week until she leaves so they are trying to make their summer count. In a storm at night a sassy mermaid, Aquamarine,washes into the Capri Beach pool. Aquamarine has to prove to her that love exists and of course she chooses to love Raymond, the one boy every girl loves. This book is amazing and funny, guaranteed for enjoyment!

Join your friends for a fun night out, Glee style! Choose from over 30,000 songs, including oldies through the Top 40. Sing individually or in groups and record a CD that will be distributed at a later date.

The Teen Advisory Board Presents: Young Adult Author, Gae Polisner

Open to students in grades 6 - 12, and all adults
Join the Teen Advisory Board as they host an evening with local young adult author, Gae Polisner. In celebration of her debut release, The Pull of Gravity, she will answer questions and discuss the writing of her novel. The book will be available for purchase and signing through the Friends of the Library. Refreshments will be served. Please call Youth Services to register.

Get Ready to Babysit!
Saturday, June 18th from 10 am - 1 pm
Open to students entering grades 6 - 9
Babysitting or working as a mother’s helper can be a great way to earn extra money, as well as gain valuable experience with young children. This workshop, taught by professionals from Cornell Cooperative Extension, will teach the necessary skills that every good babysitter should have. All participants will receive a certificate upon completion of this course. Please call Youth Services to register on Tuesday, June 7th. Space is limited.
