Animal Love & Care

Wednesday, December 8th from 7 - 8 PM
Sponsored by the Teen Advisory Board & Teens Connect

All students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to attend this informational program about working with and caring for animals. Our guest speaker, Arlene Leone, Special Programs Manager at the Little Shelter Animal Rescue in Huntington, will be bringing her devoted friend Charlotte, a Brussels Griffon, who was left at the shelter in need of a home and love. Ms. Leone will talk about kindness, responsibility, body language, animal adoption and answer any questions you may have. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn how you can help and earn an hour of community service. Please bring a treat that the animals would enjoy such as dog biscuits or canned food. A Teen Advisory Board meeting will follow from 8 to 8:30 PM. Please call Young Adult Central to register.
