Teen Literary Committee Goes to Book Revue


Saturday, December 19th from 10am-11am


Join Mr. Cooper for our annual trip to Book Revue. All TLC members are invited to join us and help select paperbacks and other books for the Young Adult collection. We will enjoy snacks and drinks at the cafe courtesy of the library. Please meet at Book Revue in Huntington Village at 10am and have a parent or guardian pick you up at 11am sharp at Book Revue. New Teen Literary Committee members are always welcome, so please bring a friend. No registration is required. Any questions, please contact Mr. Cooper.

Edible Candyland


Wednesday, December 16th from 7:00-8:30pm


Create your very own edible candyland that you can take home to share with your friends and family. Your board will be filled with various tasty treats from destinations such as the Lollipop Woods, Gumdrop Mountains, Peppermint Stick Forests, and many other others using endless chocolates and candies. Winter Wonderland Cake


Thursday, December 10th from 7:00-8:30pm


All students will design their own creatively decorated and delicious cake to take home to enjoy for the holidays. Please call the Reference Desk to register.

Night and Day Clocks


Friday, December 18th from 7:00-8:30pm


All students are encouraged to join us to make and design their very own "early bird" or "night owl" clock to take home with them. This could be a great gift for the holidays, or something for you to enjoy in your bedroom. Please call the Reference Desk to register.

Movie and Pizza Day


Tuesday, December 29th from 12:00-2:30pm


While enjoying your holiday break from school, join us for pizza and a movie showing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. As Harry Potter begins his sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he begins to find out more about Lord Voldermort's past. This movie is rated PG-13. Monsters in Literature Drawing Workshop


Tuesday, December 8th from 7:00-8:30pm


Join professional graphic designer David Miller for this awesome drawing workshop as students will be drawing many "monsters in literature", such as Frankenstein, the Hunchback of Notre Dame, the Phantom of the Opera, and so many more. Please call the Reference Desk to register.

Teens Connect: Monday, December 14th from 7:00-8:30pm


Teens Connect is a program where teens earn community service hours for their participation. We will be making mini holiday trees and other holiday related crafts that will be donated within our community. Please call the Reference Desk to register.
