The Tales of Beedle the Bard, a Wizarding classic, first came to Muggle readers' attention in the book known as "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". Now, thanks to Hermione Granger's new translation from the ancient runes, we present this stunning edition with an introduction, notes, and illustrations by J. K. Rowling, and extensive commentary by Albus Dumbledore. Never before have Muggles been privy to these richly imaginative tales.

Teen Read Week Promotion in YA Central

It is "Teen Read Week" from October 12th-18th. Teen Read Week is a national program aimed at teens annually. This year’s sub-theme is "Books With Bite@Your Library" promoting a variety of books—from vampire stories to cooking to technology (byte)—as a tool for getting teens to read. During this week stop by YA Central any time and fill out a brief book review and you will be rewarded with a bag of treats! I hope to see you all soon this week (starting Sunday the 12th) and I have plenty of treats to hand out, so fill out those reviews on books you have been reading! (one per day please)
Would anyone like to share any books they have enjoyed lately?
